Keiko Raca Limited Series Brazilian Jiu Jitsu GI

The Keiko Raca Limited Series BJJ Gi is one of the most painstakingly crafted Brazilian jiu jitsu Gi's available today. Every BJJ Gi color features a contrasting trim on the borders of the jacket for a detailed and clean look. Patchwork includes two shoulder patches, lapel patch, brazilan flag and keiko raca logo on arms, lower leg patch and a small patch on the back of the collar.

The construction of this Gi includes re-inforcements in the knees and underarms, pants are "rope-tie". Keiko Limited Series Gi's are cut slightly slimmer than many others making them great for competition! Also, this Gi is lighter than many other gi's also making them great for tournaments and hot summer days.

The Limited Series GI is the flagship model from one of the biggest names in BJJ, Keiko Raca. The limited series is their most popular model of GI and is available in 6 colours.

The navy limited GI is our most popular GI above the £90 price range and I think it’s one of the best looking GIs as well.

Fit - Competition cut so no excess material on the sleeves, body or trousers.

GI Top - The GI top is made from a type of pearl weave but the weave isn’t as tight and coarse as some of the other brands. It’s somewhere between a single and a pearl weave. The looseness of the weave makes the jacket very supple and it feels light and comfortable when being worn.  Not quite an ultralight but somewhere between an ultralight and a standard weight GI. I like to think it has the strength and durability of a standard weight GI and the lightness and comfort of an ultralight. A good combination in my opinion.

The lapel has a rubber core that helps keep its shape and dry quicker because the rubber doesn’t hold any water after being washed. The lapel is very thick. It has one of the thickest lapels that I have seen on a GI making it very hard for your opponent to get a decent grip. The lapel is stiff but not over stiff like some other GIs giving it the perfect balance between a loose and stiff lapel.

GI Trousers - The trousers are made from strong cotton, are quite thick and are of average weight. They are very durable and have a rope waist tie. The area from the knee to the shin is reinforced.

Branding GI Top - Woven Keiko patches on the chest and both shoulders, embroidered Brazilian flag on the right arm, embroidered Keiko logo on the left arm amd back of neck.

Branding Trousers - Woven Keiko patch on the shin on one leg.

Shrinkage -The Limited series has been pre-shrunk but because of the loose weave Keiko have used you will still get a little bit of shrinkage so it is ideal for shrinking to fit. If the GI fits you well straight out of the bag then washing on a cold/30 degree wash will minimize shrinkage and if it’s a little bit big in places then a couple of washes at 40 degrees will bring it down in size a bit.

Good for - Tournaments and everyday training. The Keiko Limited Series GI is fully tournament legal.

The Limited Series GI is a very well made and is comfortable, Looks good and is lightweight .
